This document describes the data that accompany the paper “Grads on the
Go: Measuring College-Specific Labor Markets for Graduates." The data contain information about the geographic locations of graduates from 2,600 public and private four-year and two-year colleges and universities in the US obtained from publicly accessible
institutional webpages from a popular professional networking site. The number of such graduates in each of 278 areas in the US for each institution is included, along with institutional identifiers and characteristics obtained from several other public sources. Various geographic crosswalks for linking the data with other geographic information are also included.
